About the Event
Have you always wanted to give a TED Talk? Or perhaps you are looking for an innovative and free way to expand your business or elevate your career as a writer, actor, producer or other professional. Whether you're an educator, engineer, realtor or athlete, doing a TEDx Talk can bring new financial opportunities your way, such as a book deal, business deals, or other lucrative ventures. You'll gain insider tips on how to book a TEDx Talk in your city, from developing the idea, to pitching yourself, and marketing the talk to procure future opportunities. All participants will have an opportunity to ask questions directly to speaker!

About the Speaker
Angela Marie Hutchinson has worked for MGM, Warner Bros. Television and the GRAMMYs. Earlier this year in May 2018, Angela landed her first traditional book deal with a mainstream publisher, Sourcebooks, the largest woman-owned trade book publisher in the U.S. Angela's book will release in 2019 and is based on her TEDx Talk, "Create Your Own Yes, When You Keep Hearing No." After landing her TEDx Talk, Angela was recruited to be an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University where she lectures on Social Media for Business. Following that collegiate appointment, the BBC World News invited Angela to be a TV Commentator for their Live Coverage of the 2018 Oscars - the biggest night in Hollywood. Angela's strategy of activating her influence, even with a moderate social media following, has worked for her and she will share how to make it work for you too. From a TEDx Talk to a book deal and more, Angela will share innovative tips and strategies on how to elevate your career or take your business to the next level.

Angela has appeared on BBC, CBS News, NPR and FOX13. Additionally, Angela's first narrative feature film that she wrote, cast and produced, "Hollywood Chaos," aired on Hulu and internationally, and is currently streaming on UMC. Angela's second feature project, H.U.S.H., a documentary film about Hollywood's Uncovered Sexual Harrasment, aired on PBS. Angela is also the founder of BReaKiNG iNTo HoLLyWooD, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps entertainment professionals elevate their careers. A University of Michigan graduate, Angela is married to a rocket scientist and has three young children.

*Our organization has a no refund policy. (i.e. We do not offer refunds-- not even for participant no-shows, speaker/topic changes or other unforeseen circumstances.)
