Event
Would you like to get insider information
on how to get staffed as a TV writer or
how to become a Writer's Assistant? Are
you seeking advice for how to secure literary
representation? Or perhaps you have a great
idea for a TV show or a pilot script and
want to know how to get it sold? If so,
this is an intimate event
that you do not want to miss! All participants
will have an opportunity to ask candid questions
directly to the speaker!

About the
Speaker
Staff Writer, Lorna Clarke Osunsanmi,
aka Lorna O. is currently a Story Editor
on a Greg Berlanti/CW produced television
series titled, "All American,"
which currently airs on The CW on Wednesdays
at 9/8c. Previously, she was a Staff Writer
on "The Path" for Hulu. She is
an active developer, working with Kevin
Hart through his digital platform LOL and
has worked with John Ridley, Wendy Calhoun
and Stearns Castle on a project for FX.
Lorna graduated Magna Cum Laude earning
a Bachelor of Arts degree in English &
Communications with a Pre-law minor from
Texas Woman's University. After teaching
middle school for a of couple years and
realizing her calling was not instructing
hormonally charged pre-pubescent teens;
plus, a myriad of other reasons. Lorna had
a revelation. After years of independent
filmmaking in Dallas, she knew it was time
to pursue her dreams in California. She
loaded up her car and moved to Glendale,
California.
Her first foray in entertainment was on
"The Bernie Mac Show" as a high-power
post-production assistant. No one could
deliver VHS tapes faster! She went on to
assistant and was mentored/trained under
writers, executives, directors and producers
such as Nicholas Stoller on the film Get
Him to the Greek, Charles “Chic”
Eglee (Dexter, The Shield, Thief of Thieves),
Gary Lennon (The Shield), Robert and Michelle
King (Judy’s Got a Gun - pilot), Rob
Bowman & Jeffrey Bell (Day Break).
Outside of film and television Lorna is
a motivational speaker and author. She toured
the U.S. promoting her book “Becoming
Bold”. And was privileged to speak
to women at the Los Angeles County Reintegration
Center. Lorna currently resides in Los Angeles
with her two children and producer/director
husband.
