About the Event
Are you seeking literary representation and want to know what literary agents look for in potential writer and director clients? Are you interested in learning about becoming an agent? Do you want to get inside tips on how to elevate yourself as a writer in the current marketplace? If so, this is an intimate event that you do not want to miss! All participants will have an opportunity to ask candid questions directly to the speaker! NOTE: This is an informational networking event; no pitching projects at event.

About the Speaker
Danny Toth is a Literary Agent at The Gersh Agency, which has grown organically into a powerful bicoastal talent and literary agency with 75 agents and 150 employees. Danny represents writers and directors, working in both Film and TV. Growing up in sunny Southern California, Danny made the huge leap to Los Angeles and attended the Film School at Loyola Marymount University where he studied Screenwriting and Film Studies. After school, Danny took a dive into the development world spending time at Mandalay Entertainment and Participant Media before landing in the world of VFX. However, feeling the urge to be back in the Feature side of business, Danny started working at Gersh for an MP Lit Agent where he worked his way up the ladder to Literary Agent in 2016. He now reps writers and directors, working in both Feature and TV, and has been with the Gersh team for over 5 years.

*Our organization has a no refund policy. (i.e. We do not offer refunds-- not even for participant no-shows, speaker/topic changes or other unforeseen circumstances.) We do however offer event credits when appropriate, upon board approval. Children under 16 are free if accompanied by a paying adult.
