About the Talent Agents
Dede Binder has been a Partner and Owner of Defining Artists since 2003. Since its’ inception, Defining Artists Agency discovered actors such as Jessica Alba and America Ferrara. Dede also took pride in discovering actors such as Academy-Award winner Rami Malek, and continues to represent esteemed actors in Television and Film. Some of her clients have leads in shows such as, “A Million Little Things”, “Animal Kingdom”, “Supergirl”, “IZombie”, among many others. Dede has been a Talent Agent for over 20 years and continues to take joy and pride in representing up and coming actors as well as established, respected and well known actors. In 2018, teaming up with her partner, Gwenn Pepper, Defining Artists continues to enjoy working with their clients side by side in guiding, strategizing and collaborating with them to pursue long-term goals for their careers.

Monica Barkett is a Talent Agent at Global Artists Agency. As a Hollywood Executive for almost two decades, she has demonstrated a history of success representing actors. As a Partner at Global Artists, Monica is responsible managing and overseeing talent agents, trainees and executive assistants, while maintaining a roster of working actors on every level as a Senior Talent Agent. She is recognized as having a good eye for young talent, seeing them through the development stages to successful and lucrative Award Winning, A-List status. Monica is highly skilled in contract negotiations on behalf of Industry talent in several areas of the Entertainment business, including Television and Film on both sides of the camera, Hosting, Endorsements, Commercials and Voice-Over amounting to millions of dollars in revenue.
