About the Event
Are you developing feature scripts and television pilots that you would like to pitch to studios, networks and production companies? Do you want to gain insights on what appeals to A-list talent and how to get mainstream companies to produce and greenlight your project? Or maybe you're interested in becoming a development executive? All attendees will be able to ask questions directly to the speaker! NO pitching projects; this is an exclusive informational session.

About the Speaker
Joseph Garner
is the Head of Development at Joint Effort, Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillip's production company. Joseph served as Executive Producer on The Joker, which won the Golden Lion award at the Venice International Film Festival and became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. He Co-Produced The Hangover movies, War Dogs and Due Date. He directed Craigslist Joe, a documentary film where he spent one month traveling across the United States, without any money, solely supporting himself via contacting people on the website Craigslist. He also directed the award-winning 30 for 30 Short for ESPN Films, called The Schedule Makers, which won an Emmy for Outstanding Short-Format Nonfiction Program. Joseph graduated from San Francisco State University in 2002, with a degree in Cinema. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two kids and dog, Bagel.

Founded in May 2005, BReaKiNG iNTo HoLLyWooD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Admission cost is tax deductible. Upon receiving your RSVP, a confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours. *Our organization has a no refund policy. (i.e. We do not offer refunds-- not even for participant no-shows, speaker/topic changes or other unforeseen circumstances.) We do however offer event credits when appropriate, upon board approval. Children under 16 are free if accompanied by a paying adult.
