About the Event
 Are yointerested in writing for television? Do you want to gain insights about how to break in as a staff writer or writer's assistant? Or perhaps you want insight about how to successfully submit to the Warner Bros. Television Workshop for scriptwriters? If so, this is an intimate event that you do not want to miss! All participants will have an opportunity to ask candid questions directly to the speaker! NOTE: This is an informational networking event; NO pitching projects.

About the Speaker
Rebecca Windsor
is the Director of the Warner Bros. Television Workshop, the premier writing and directing program for professionals looking to start and/or further their careers in television. She also oversees the Fresh Ink Initiative, focusing on finding emerging talent to develop television pilots. As an extension of her role developing new talent, Rebecca was recruited to help launch Warner Bros. digital brand Stage13, overseeing the critically acclaimed Snatchers, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and SXSW, and Special, which premiered last spring on Netflix. Previously, she was the Creative Producing Initiative Manager of Sundance Institute’s Feature Film Program, playing a key role in coordinating the Creative Producing Lab and Summit, Screenwriters and Directors Labs, and Episodic Story Lab. Prior to Sundance, Rebecca was Manager of Development at Samuel L. Jackson’s television company, UppiTV, and at Mandeville Films. She started her career as an assistant at the Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann Agency and ICM. A San Diego native, she attended Northwestern University, where she received a BS in Theatre.

*Our organization has a no refund policy. (i.e. We do not offer refunds-- not even for participant no-shows, speaker/topic changes or other unforeseen circumstances.) We do however offer event credits when appropriate, upon board approval. Children under 16 are free if accompanied by a paying adult.
