About the Panelists
Maurice "Moe" Poplar is a multiplatform storyteller who uses audio, visuals and games to connect those who aren't usually seen fully in entertainment spaces. In podcasting, Moe is the creator and EP of BunnAmigos, a podcast for kids about the world told through the adventures of globe-hopping bunnies! The podcast was recently featured on NPR's Here & Now as a feature for how parents can approach travel with kids. Maurice is a writer for Stories Podcast, the largest kids podcast, and a featured guest on Stories RPG. He was a writer and producer on the Class of 89, a Podcast Documentary exploring the six black films from 1989 that changed the direction of cinema, and is credited with editing and hosting various other podcasts.

Kevin Burns is a Sound Mixer based out of Los Angeles.  Currently, Kevin works at Fox Entertainment and Sports and was recently awarded an Emmy for his sound mixes for the 2022 Men's World Cup. Throughout his career, Kevin has mixed movie trailers for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Fox, as well as, worked on television shows for Discovery Channel and VICE.

Tanisha Quilter-Williams graduated from California State University as a Broadcast Journalism major and went on to work at E! Entertainment, Inside Edition, and US Weekly to name a few. Working in the trenches at some of Hollywood’s top companies fostered her creativity and inspired Tanisha to obtain a MFA in Creative Writing. In 2021, she turned her drama/comedy pilot “Forties AF,” about three 40-something single friends who pick up the pieces their thirties left behind into a drama fiction podcast. To-date, Forties AF has garnered more than 150,000 downloads with a minimal marketing ad budget. The podcast was chosen to participate in Gotham Pitch Week 2021 and was nominated as Best Fiction Podcast by the Podcast Awards-People’s Choice. Tanisha is currently working on Season 3 of Forties AF and creating a writer’s room to give other writers exposure. Recently, Tanisha was highlighted in Deadline for being chosen to participate as a mentee in the Black Boy Writes & Black Girl Writes Mentorship Initiative presented by writer Mike Gauyo (InsecureGinny & Georgia), in partnership with Stage 32, and with support from Culture Creative Entertainment, M88, and Final Draft.
